The trip to Bremen and Hamburg in 4 days took us to Germany for the first time.
For 4 days we could enjoy two of its best known cities.
We fly from Girona to Bremen where we arrive in the morning and we still have all day and the next day to enjoy the city famous for the "Bremen Musicians" tale.

We visit some of the best known places in the city such as the St Pietri Cathedral, the Town Hall and the Parliament, the Roland sculpture, the Böttchestrasse street, the Carrillon Courtyard, the "Schlachte" promenade and the famous Schnoor neighborhood where we enjoy of a spectacular end of day.
The second day in Bremen we take it easy and enjoy the walks getting lost in the streets and a well-deserved rest that also has a place in our travels.
The third day we moved from Bremen to Hamburg where we found a much more colorful city than we expected.
We start on Mönckeberg Street where we reach the Town Hall Square, the Church of St. Jacobi and St. Petri, the memorial to St. Nikolai, the House of Chile, St. Michel and the port area, where we pass the Rest of the day before returning to Bremen, where we will spend the last night before returning to the airport the next day to catch the flight that takes us back home and say goodbye to Bremen and Hamburg.

Very good, I find your blog very interesting, and it helps us a lot.
We are going to go to Bremen in Holy Week from 7! To 11, whole days on 7 because we arrive at 10 in the morning, 8, 9 and 10, that you believe and we want to go to Hamburg one day, that you think it would be better to be 3 days in Bremen and spend one in Hamburg or spend two nights in Bremen and stay in Hamburg one night and stay two days. Thanks 😊

      Hi Inma,
With 1 night in Hamburg you have enough to get to know the city, but being so many days, but if you want to make another trip around, it may be a good option to stay two nights and thus make the visits with more tranquility. regards

    Hi Vanessa and Roger!

I will start by thanking you, because your blog is being super useful for planning my trip to Europe! I also enjoy reading them a lot. It had not occurred to me to travel to these cities, but now that I read it, I think I could dedicate a day, only to which of the two: Hamburg or Bremen? It will be in January. And since I'm here: for a day trip from Brussels, would you choose Leuven or Antwerp (in December)?

    Thank you!!

    Greetings from Guanajuato, Mexico

      Hello Pearl,
First of all, thank you very much for reading us!
Regarding the first option, although Hamburg is a very beautiful city, we especially liked Bremen and we also believe that being a smaller place, it is optimal for a day trip.
About Leuven or Antwerp, although it is also difficult to choose, we would opt for Antwerp, as we believe it has more interesting places to know in one day.
      regards
We look forward to returning to Mexico! ❤️

    Hello Travelers!
It's been a while since your trip but I have a question for you. We will also go 3 full days to Hamburg and Bremen (the fourth is back and does not count) but we go to Hamburg and return from Bremen so we can divide them between the two cities. What do you think is better: one day in Hamburg and two in Bremen or the other way around?
    Greetings. Thank you

      Hi Mariana,
The truth is that it is a difficult choice, but if we have to choose, from our experience, we would make a couple of days in Bremen and one in Hamburg.
Although maybe Hamburg is bigger, Bremen has something "special" and it is worth spending a day in a relaxed plan, just wandering around ...
      Regards!!

      Hi Joan,
At that time Hamburg has to be spectacular. And if you can make a trip to Bremen, you will surely love it. regards

    Hi Vane and Roger.

Tell you that I have returned from my anniversary break through Hamburg and Bremen and I have loved everything. Your blog has helped me a lot.

The best thing is that it has snowed and I could see Bremen snowed, the surroundings of the all-white windmill is something impressive.

My next getaway will be Berlin and I will surely help me with your blog.

    Greetings,

    Montse

      Good morning Montse,
Thank you very much for writing and telling us, you can not imagine the illusion that makes us. Bremen with snow has to be a show.
For Berlin, if we can help you with anything, you just have to write to us. Regards!

    Hi Octavio!
We went to Hamburg on Sunday precisely because of the concern that if everything was closed, it was less "important" than Bremen.
The big stores were closed, clothes, shopping centers ... etc. But the rest is all open: restaurants, souvenir shops ... etc.
It is a city that we liked a lot and that is worth a break.
    Regards!!!

Congratulations for the newspaper, I liked it a lot and I have taken note since in August we will make the same trip, from 24 to 27, I know that a couple of years have passed, but do you remember if in Hamburg on Sunday there was atmosphere? I mean open stores and so on, because we want to see Bremen on Saturday and leave Hamburg for Sunday. Thank you and greetings.

    Hi:
I just saw your message in "Forum travelers" and I have taken a look, as we leave tomorrow for Bremen (it is the same trip as you in terms of days, return, schedules, etc ...). We are a marriage with two children (over 20 and 14) and we really want to escape.
I will print your comments that will be of great help to me. Greetings and back I comment….

PS: By the way, interesting page (with what we like travel ...). I have to flip through it ...
