Strolling along the banks of the Thames, enjoying visits from the London Eye, crossing the Tower Bridge, resting in one of its parks, shopping in Camden Market or Portobello or visiting some of its museums, are some of the many things that See and do in London that you can not miss, whether or not your first time in the city.

1. Excursion to Stonehenge

Stonehenge is the most famous megalithic monument in the world, a World Heritage Site and one of the best excursions in London. It is built with large blocks of rock forming a circle and its objective still, today, is a mystery. At each summer solstice, the interior of the monument is allowed to enter and a welcome party is held while the sun rises just across the axis of the monument.
To arrive by public transport it is best to use the train, approaching the Waterloo station from where trains depart approximately every hour. The journey takes an hour and a half to Salisbury and from there, at the same station, you can take a bus that will take you to Stonehenge in half an hour. 2. Guided tour of London

We did not discover anything new saying that London is an endless city, in which there are many routes to discover all the most tourist locations in the city. In our trips to London in 10 days and London in 6 days, we made a large part of them, among which we would highlight for a first visit the Westminster Abbey, the Parliament and Big Ben, make a cruise on the Thames, the Tower Bridge, the British Museum, Camden Market and Portovello markets, Oxford Street, the London Eye, Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square, the Madame Tussauds wax museum, St. Paul's Cathedral and Hyde Park and St James's Park, among others .

3. Jack the Ripper Tour

The Harry Potter Tour through Warner Bros Studios is another of the most booked tours in London. It is a unique opportunity for all fans of movies and books in the saga of British writer J. K. Rowling. You can visit many of the scenes of the movies, see the costumes and some of the most famous objects and gadgets.
The studios open every day from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and it's about 45 minutes from Euston Station.

6. Guided visit to the British Museum

The British Museum, one of the best museums in London, has some of the most important works and collections in the world. With a classic facade and a bright interior is one of the visits you can't miss in London. Some of the most important pieces and collections that you can find are the Rosetta Stone, the mummies of ancient Egypt or the sculptures and marbles of the Parthenon. Its halls in Egypt, Rome and Greece are essential.
They open every day from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (Fridays close at 8:30 p.m.). A good option is to take a guided tour in Spanish to see the most important, without leaving anything.

7. Windsor Castle Tour

One of the excursions in London that we did on our trip was to Windsor Castle. This queen's favorite palace and residence is immense and although only part of the enclosure is allowed to visit, it is well worth it.
It emphasizes its great tower, its gardens, some rooms of the interior and the chapel of San Jorge, where Enrique VIII, Jane Seymour, Carlos I, and Eduardo IV are buried. It is also worth walking through the beautiful town of Windsor.

8. Thames cruise at sunset

A Thames cruise at sunset is always on the list of essential London visits. 9. Excursion to Leeds Castle, Canterbury and Dover

Canterbury Cathedral is one of the oldest and most famous churches in England, located in the historic center of the city of Canterbury, which stands out for its Gothic style and its large stained glass windows.
Leeds Castle is located in a magical place, surrounded by water and with beautiful gardens in Kent County. Finally, in this area, you can see the white and spectacular cliffs of Dover, over 100 meters high, a spectacular and incredible landscape.

10. London night tour
